What are Myte’s fees for donors?

Myte is 100% free for donors!

What forms of payment can I donate with?

Myte currently accepts donations through credit card, debit card, or Apple Pay.

Do I get a tax deduction receipt?

Every Myte donor will receive a donation receipt after making a donation. Donors can also request a comprehensive year-end tax receipt in the app.

Myte works with the Myte Giving Fund to fulfil donations. The Myte Giving Fund is the IRS Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity (EIN 92-2435749) that receives your gift and re-distributes it to your advised public charities. The Myte Giving Fund accepts donations and your recommended charity recipient, confirms that charity’s good standing with the IRS, and re-grants your donation to your selected charity. Your debit/credit card/bank statement will list the Myte Giving Fund as the charity/merchant, not the name of the nonprofit organization that ultimately receives your donation.

What is a Need?

Needs serve as a way for organizations to quantify their needs and provide donors a way to visualize how their money is being used to create a more tangible sense of impact. Needs can be one-time or ongoing. Some organizations might have hundreds of open needs, while others may have one or two that represent their core operations.

What is a Campaign?

Campaigns are larger time or financial-based goals, and are a great way to create a sense of community among your donor base. They allow organizations to raise money for a specific cause over a specified period of time. 

Example: Help Raise $100,000 for Refugees

How does the Myte Concierge Program work?

We understand that managing another profile on top of everything else can seem like a lot. That’s why we started the Concierge Program - completely free to all Myte partners.. When you sign up on Myte, you will be assigned a dedicated concierge to work with you to manage your profile, refresh your content, and keep your needs and campaigns at the top of donor feeds. This concierge will make sure all your questions are answered and will make managing your profile on Myte simple and hassle-free. Organizations can work as directly or indirectly with the Concierge as they’d like.
